We’ve made some very minor corrections to our guidance note – the version now on the site is version 2, Jan 16. Older versions are still fine, but the corrections were as follows :
- We’d inadvertently put the wrong year in for the Data Protection Act
- We’d included a bad citation (reference) to a case we referred to on page 6. The correct citation for the Medway case is now included.
Thank you to those who pointed out the glitches.
I wondered whether this worthy website might be interested in the publication by the NHS, this month, of the ‘guidance’ linked below, entitled:-
“Patients recording NHS staff in health and social care settings”
http://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/Documents/SecurityManagement/Patients_recording_NHS_staff_in_health_and_social_care_settings_guidance_May_2016.pdf
At best, a ‘curate’s egg’, in my view.
Thanks. That is interesting.
Thanks very much for bringing this to my attention. This NHS guidance is very open and contributes to a culture of honesty and transparency. We hope that this will contribute to a wider acceptance of the Transparency Project’s guidance for Social Workers
