The Transparency Project is a registered charity, run almost entirely by volunteers who also have full-time jobs. We carry out an important legal function that no one else provides and our work is valued by professionals and families in the family justice system.
We are working hard to secure further funding and pursue self-sustainability to ensure we can keep doing what we do, but we do need extra support to keep on top of our general running costs.
We’ve created some ways you can support us, if you are able to do so.
The Giving Machine
Join for free and choose up to four causes to support. You then generate commissions for these causes by shopping online with over 1500 retailers including Amazon, John Lewis, Iceland, Waitrose, eBay, Sainsbury’s and Next. At no extra cost to you, we receive a donation based on these commissions. It’s a win-win.
Visit: The Giving Machine and join up today!
Amazon Smile
Similar to The Giving Machine, Amazon Smile offers us donations based on the commissions you generate by purchasing goods through Amazon Smile (rather than the normal Amazon site). The site is exactly the same and the same prices/offers apply; it just means we receive 0.5% of the sale at no extra cost to you!
You can join Amazon Smile here!
#RunAnnieRun
One half of our Project Coordination team, Annie (also known as Surviving Safeguarding), has chosen to use her place in this year’s Great North Run to raise a bit of money for the Transparency Project and in memory of her late son, Jonny. She successfully completed the Great North 10K on the 7th of July and now half-marathon training is in full swing. You can sponsor Annie’s efforts (and leave some much-needed words of encouragement!) by visiting her page and read her story here.
Facebook Fundraiser
If Facebook is your thing, you can also now donate to us that way. It’s quick, easy and secure. Once you’ve donated, or if you’re not able to donate at this time, you can share our fundraiser with your friends, family and colleagues who may be so inclined to drop us a few quid!
You can reach our Facebook page here, where you’ll find the fundraiser.
Justgiving
Our justgiving page provides a range of easy ways to donate – whether you prefer to make a one of or recurring donation. And the best bit is you can giftaid your donation, and even leave us a lovely comment for others to see (with or without your name visible, depending on how secret squirrel you are!).
Events
Our events are donation only events and when well attended enable us both to cover our costs and raise some funds for other costs. Keep an eye on our events page for future events, and if you are a lawyer who would like us to bring our workshop about legal bloggers and journalists attending family courts to your neck of the woods please get in touch.
And finally…
We’d love to hear from you if you have any other fundraising suggestions or if you would like to raise money for The Transparency Project yourself. Perhaps you’re doing an event; a walk, a run, a swim, or a climb and you’d quite like to do it to raise funds for TP. Or perhaps you’d simply like to donate to us in a different way and need further information. Our team will be delighted to hear from you and you can contact us at:

Thanks for reading! And a great big thank you to those who support us financially and in other ways.

Your work should become fully supported since it for this indivifual has shone a light onto one of the most cruvial issues of our time.
I am but a poor fellow, made homeless through the now manifestly corrupt sustems of civil administration and law.
I am unable to grant you at present, but as and when i can, i surely will.
