After many months – getting on for a year – of The Transparency Project continually asking for more transparent publication of the progress of the President’s Transparency Implementation Group (TIG) we’re pleased to have been notified of a new TIG webpage on a new Judiciary website.
The Judiciary site is here – https://www.judiciary.uk/
Views on it are being requested – let them know your thoughts on the new site by emailing website.enquiries@judiciary.uk
This is the TIG page – https://www.judiciary.uk/about-the-judiciary/our-justice-system/jurisdictions/family-jurisdiction/transparency-implementation-group/
The TIG meeting minutes page is here – https://www.judiciary.uk/guidance-and-resources/transparency-implementation-group-minutes-and-sub-group-minutes/
We hope the Minutes will be brought up to date soon.
For clarification – Lucy Reed and Julie Doughty, TP trusteees, are also members of the TIG. Jack Harrison, TP member, is on the Secretariat.
Transparency seems to be in short supply via social services and the family courts.
in fact the SS will do everything in their power to prevent parents getting access to documents they have a right to see.
