Merry Christmas from The Transparency Project team. We’ve been a bit quiet the last few weeks, but will be back with a spring in our step in 2018.
By the way, the picture is of The Tate gallery, snapped by Paul Magrath as he went by. We thought it was a good metaphor for what we do… Lights in the dark shouting “Hey! Over here! Come and see!”, that just might get a passer by interested enough to stick their head inside and to look at the more tricky, less obvious stuff inside…
Merry Christmas and heartfelt thanks to all those involved in fighting for the voices of the children to be heard, in a transparent and open and accountable Family Court system. May 2018 bring a substantial enough shift in comprehension, understanding, compassion and committment in the Family Court Judiciary, to allow them to acknowledge AND accept the voice of each and every child in all cases, as a valid witness to fully inform their decision making process, to ensure the child’s physical, emotional and psychological health and wellbeing is fully taken into account and protected until each one is 18 and old enough to make their own decisions with regard to their own future and, family circumstances.
Thanks for all your work in 2017. Here’s to an even more successful 2018.
